On behalf of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Republic of Austria, I welcome you to our website.
Decades of economic renovation have transformed Vietnam into a lively market. The country now has diplomatic and trade relations with more than 170 countries. With more than 84 million hard-working and talented people, rich in natural resources, and located in the center of a dynamic economic growth region, Vietnam is an ideal place to visit and to do business.
In 1 December 1972, Vietnam established diplomatic relations at ambassadorrial level. In 1991, Vietnam opened its permanent Mission in Vienna. Relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Austria have developed quickly in all fields including diplomatic, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
To further the understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries and to help you learn more about Vietnam, the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam would like to invite you to visit our web-site.
